Sah Thanks for this group. I had a question- Why is it that the women who need funds the most are the ones that dont have access to it? For example, Somali women in war-torn Somalia have long been excluded from such facilities and resources because they are in ´inaccessible conflict areas´. That inaccessibility says much ...about their dire need. Hope that will be taken into account.

Hello, my name is Noreen Haque-Colombe. I am a first generation Pakistani and an Educational Consultant for Usborne Books and More. I recently saw Nicholas Kristof's, "Half the Sky" interview on Oprah and would like to use my resources to help some of the groups of women the book addresses. I would like to host an ...e show where other likeminded women can purchase books that can be shipped directly to women and children in need. Educating women is of utmost importance but lack of access to basic books is a serious problem. Please take a look at my website at www.myubam.com/E3996. I will set up an e show on the top right hand corner. Please send this infomation along, I am also working on coordinating a sale donation of 15%. I think this is a great way to start the new year for many women - books AND money.
