According to AutNews, Green students of Shahid Beheshti University by issuing a new s...tatement emphasised on their determination to hold a sit-in strike on Saturday (Jan 9, 2010): Following the statement by the Islamic Council of Students of Shahid Beheshti University that was issued yesterday and in which all students were invited to join the sit-in strike on Saturday (Jan 9, 2010), simultaneously with the first day of the final exams and possible visit by Manouchehr Motaki (the Foreign Minister of coup administration), university authorities have threatened and pressured the members of the Islamic Council to cancel the sit-in strike, but in response the Green students of Shahid Beheshti by issuing a new statement announced that they are determined to hold the sit-in strike in protest to the coup government, its illegitimate and brutal actions and the continuation of detention of their classmates and invited all students to join this great cause.

سلام میر عزیز
به یکباره با دیدن عکس تو دلم برای روزگاری تنگ شد که تو در مناظره ها رو به ملت می ایستادی و رو به آنها می گفتی من برای بر پا کردن دولت اخلاق و کنار... زدن دروغ و فساد می آیم. در پایان آخرین مناظره تو به بالا می پریدم که باریکلا میر حسین 2 احمدی 0 . و اینگونه گذشت و گذشت تا به جایی رسید که عکس هایی که امروز از تو منتشر می شود بهت را در چهره تو بیش از هر چیز دیگر نمایش می دهد. نمی دانم شایدم این ناشی از بهت خود من باشد که اکنون در چهره تو متصور می شوم. اما دلم می خواهد برای تو نامه ای از روی محبت بنویسم. محبتی که در آخرین روز های انتخابات در چهره سرشار از لبخند فرزندان این مملکت می شد دید. محبتی که به ترافیک خیابانهای شلوغ و بوق های ممتد می خندید. شاید آن زمان ما جنبش سبز را بیشتر از هر چیز دیگر زندگی می کردیم. گاهی حس می کنم که به تو مدیونم . هر بار منتظر می نشینیم تا ببینیم که میر حسین برای ما چه دارد و در بیانیه اش چه می گوید و چگونه می توانم از کلام تو انرژی بگیرم تا این راه پر اصطکاک را ادامه دهم. اما امروز می خواهم یک بیانیه برای تو بدهم. بیانیه من تمام محبت دنیا را در خودش جا داده. شاید روح بزرگ تو امروز بیش از همیشه تحت فشار و زخمه های دیگران هست. تجربه ثابت کرده که همه ما همیشه نیاز داریم که دیگری ای باشد تا کلامی هرچند مختصر از روی محبت بر ما جاری کند تا توان خود را باز یابییم. نمی دانم که اینطور هست یا نه اما برای من که همیشه همینطور بوده. و حالا می خواهم به تو بگویم که خدا قوت. کلام تو و نگاه تو همیشه سرشار از استقامت و شور برای امید به زیستن در آینده ای آزاد و شادمان بوده. شاید خیلی ها به این کار خرده بگیرند و بگویند که آه باز داریم بت می سازیم. اما نه این نامه من به تو نه برای تو که شاید برای خودم باشد که با میر حسین درون خودم حرف می زنم و باز یاد این می افتم که در پی این حوادث خوب و تلخ من یاد گرفتم که انسان تا چه حد می تواند ظرفیت داشته باشد و روح بزرگ خود را در اوج نگه دارد. پایدار باش و پیروز و جاودان.ا

Mir Hossein Mousavi میر حسین موسوی According to Alef news website (affiliated with Ahmad Tavakoli, a conservative member of the parliament) finally after several months of investigations, the special fact finding committee of the parliament that was investigating the crimes committed after the election in Kahrizak prison (where protestors were detained..., tortured and some even were killed under torture) has concluded their report and handed it to the speaker of the parliament today. The fact finding committee of the parliament in this report found Saeed Mortazavi (the notorious former Prosecutor of Tehran) as the main suspect in the crimes committed in Kahrizak, as he was in charge of Kahrizak prison with the order of the former head of the judiciary. It was also reported that the order of sending the protestors of the post-election events to Kahrizak prison was issued directly by Saeed Mortazavi himself. Recently it was officially announced that due to torture, insanitary conditions of the prison and beating of the protestors by prison officials and their under order wicked inmates, three of the young protestors were killed in Kahrizak. Ahmadinejad had requested for the transfer of Saeed Mortazavi from judiciary to executive branch and currently he is in charge of “the campaign against the traffic of goods and currency” in Ahmadinejad’s administration. It is expected that the report by the fact finding committee would be read in the parliament next week.

Norwegian public radio and TV station (NRK) reports that the consul of the Iranian embassy in Norway has resigned in protest against the government’s use of violence against demonstrators. The consul is still in Oslo, but has not yet reported to the Norwegian authorities. Mohammed Reza Heydari had been working at the ...embassy for three years. “It was the Iranian government's treatment of protesters during Bloody Ashura (27th Dec) which meant that I had no conscience to continue.” Heydari told Norwegian public radio and TV station. At least eight people were killed and many were arrested. He confirms that he has resigned and is considering asking the Norwegian authorities for help. The head of the Norwegian-Iranian support committee, Rahman Saki, is concerned for Heydari’s safety. "It is a very difficult situation, because he will be punished severely if he returns to Iran. Not only he, but also his family", said Saki. A spokesman of the Iranian embassy in Oslo has refused to be interviewed about what he called “lies and rumours”.
