Touch Screen Response Mapping With Non Destructive Nano & Microindentation
Nanovea is currently modifying its software to allow non-destructive nano and microindentation for quality control of touch screen applications. The non-destructive method uses a ball probe to scan the surface at a constant load while software m...easures the critical electrical response of the device. A full mapping of the response can then be obtained simulating a precisely controled and measured weight. Increasing load to detect threshold contact load is also a common need for this type of application, as well as standard hardness and scratch evaluation.
